Our hoppers have a special design. A "floating" center rod that moves as you pick up the balls, minimizing the possibility of bent wires and making pick up a snap. The hopper has slots in the bottom that allow balls to be squeezed through the bottom when the weight of the tennis ball basket is lowered on the ball.

Designed with durability and attention to detail. Our Hoag basket features a rod made of a pliant material (Patent #6,945,578 B2) that flexes slightly as you pick up
balls, eliminating bent wires and broken welds.
Tough and Durable! Ball baskets with raised end “V” wires—which holds our flexible center rods—to stop
premature wear at this critical point. We also trued and squared all basket components. Our unbreakable basket bottom is constructed without welds, and bottom wires have
plastic wear feet—assembled at the factory prior to shipment—for added protection along entire contact points.
